Beijing Open Briefing May 08

A successful Open Briefing event was held on the 15th May at the Beijing Railway Hotel.

The agenda included presentations providing progress updates on each of the work packages as follows:

 2. Introduction on NZEC and WP1 Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building, Ms Philippa Harris, AEA.

 3. WP2 Future Energy Technology Perspectives, Keith Burnard, AEA.

 4. WP3 Case STudies for Carbon Dioxide Capture, Prof Wang Shujuan, Tsinghua University.

 5. WP4 Carbon Dioxide Storage Potential, Prof Li Mingyuan, China University of Petroleum (Beijing).

 6. WP5 Policy Asssessment and Roadmap, Dr Keith Burnard, AEA.

 7. Open discussion.

 8. Summary

The event closed with a networking lunch, which was well attended. 

The next Open Briefing session will be held in autumn 2008.
