DECC

The UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) brings together much of the Climate Change Group formerly within the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and the Energy Group from the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR).

DECC are funding the NZEC project. DECC have put forward the NZEC programme of work as part of their drive to encourage a low-carbon economy and to follow up on the EU-China Memorandum of Understanding regarding Carbon Capture and Sequestration.
